The initial aim of the Pembroke Dock Sunderland Trust is to recover Sunderland T9044 and to restore as much as possible of the aircraft as part of a unique Battle of the Atlantic exhibition at Pembroke Dock.

The story of military flying-boat operations - in peacetime as well as wartime - will also be told in a project which will be high profile and innovative.
